Living Waters

At SwimTruth, we believe every child deserves the chance to experience the joy, calm, and vitality of living waters. Our trauma-informed aquatic programs invite everyday schoolchildren to step into pools of possibility, where mental health support, emotional restoration, and playful movement flow together.

Whether it's a moment of quiet floating or a burst of laughter mid-splash, these waters offer more than recreation, they offer renewal.

SwimTruth is committed to making these experiences accessible, therapeutic, and empowering for youth across our communities.

Join us in creating ripples of hope, one swim at a time.

Our Mission

SwimTruth exists to restore joy, wellness, and belonging through the healing of water. We provide trauma‑informed aquatic experiences that nurture mental health, emotional resilience, and playful exploration for school‑aged children, especially those facing adversity.

Grounded in our faith, we believe in the healing power of Jesus Christ and in the living waters He has given us, waters that restore, cleanse, and wash away the battles our children face today.

By making swimming accessible, healing‑centered, and culturally responsive, we help youth reconnect with their bodies, build confidence, and experience the water as a God‑given source of peace, strength, and possibility.

.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.

Isaiah 58:11

WHO WE HELP

SwimTruth partners with schools to bring healing waters to K–12 students across Washington, DC and beyond. We serve children from all backgrounds; especially those navigating trauma, stress, or limited access to wellness resources. Whether it’s a public school, charter, or faith-based campus, we collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to ensure students experience the restorative power of swimming.

Our programs are designed for:

  • Elementary students building confidence and body awareness

  • Middle schoolers seeking emotional regulation and peer connection

  • High school youth exploring leadership, mental health support, and career pathways in aquatics

  •

By meeting students where they are; academically, emotionally, and culturally; we help them dive into growth, joy, and resilience.
